This list is run differently than some lists in that individual postings are collected, sorted by subject, formatted, and distributed in a daily digest. The list is lightly moderated to keep discussions on topic and spam-free; pretty much anything to do with ferrets is appropriate for the list. Over twenty years of archives of the FML are available to search.
On December 21, 2012 the FML turned 25! The Small Animal Channel (no affiliation as the FML is independent and non-commercial) wrote a nice article about the origins of the FML.
